Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: The candidate must qualify any one of the following education criteria to qualify.

• Pass with aggregate 40% marks in 10th Standard from a recognized Board with Science, Mathematics as subjects and with minimum 40% marks in the English language.
• Pass in 2-Year I.T.I. course from Govt. Approved Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks in final year and minimum 40% marks in English at 10th or Diploma Exam.

Medical Requirement: Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under STCW 2010 norms and medical rule 2000 and all its amendment as applicable to seafarers.

Eyesight: 6/6 Vision with no color blindness. No speech impairment (disorder). Every trainee will have to undergo and produce a Medical Fitness certificate issued by Company DG Shipping approved Doctor.

Minimum Height:  147 Cms.

Minimum Weight:  40 kgs.

Age: 17½ - 25 Years,  27 Years for candidates holding degree or diploma and 30 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST category on the date of course commencement.

Important Instructions For GP Rating Selection – 2024

1. 1. Selected candidates will be required to undergo 6 months Pre-sea training course (GP Rating) and basic modular courses at our associate college Directorate General Shipping, Mumbai Govt. of India.
   2. Selected Candidate Shall Go for the Pre-sea Training Only at Commander ali Academy of merchant Navy or Maritime Foundation, Coimbatore Marine Academy (CMC) or else Maritime Foundation the selection of the institute shall be of sole decision of the company on the basis of Performance of the candidate during the Selection Process.
   3. Selected candidates will be required to undergo a Six Month Pre-sea training course (GP Rating) and basic modular courses Fees would be approx. Rs.2,50,000.
   4. If selected for the GP Rating program, after the interview the candidate will have to undergo a medical test and psychometric test, the cost of which (approximate Rs.6500/-) will have to be paid by the candidate.
   5. Online test for eligible candidates will be held at a candidate location (Dates of online test and login credentials will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through email). Fees for online test will be approximately Rs.1500/-
   6. Based on the performance in the online test, if you are shortlisted for interview:
      a) All expenses incurred by way of traveling, boarding, lodging, etc during the selection procedure will have to be borne by the candidate.
      b) Please bring original mark-sheets of the 10th and the 12th Class (10+2) Board Exams & Degree / Diploma Certificate. Appearing candidate are eligible  to apply for the sponsorship test

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Successful completion of 12th Std (10+2) exams with more than 60% aggregate in PCM, more than 50% in English and overall of more than 60%, Qualified/appearing in the Indian maritime university (IMU CET) test conducted twice in a year.

Kindly Note -  10+2 Appearing Candidate Can Apply for the Sponsorship Only for the August IMU DNS Batch.

Medical Requirement: Medically fit as per standards laid down by D.G. Shipping, Govt. of India, IMU & any additional medical requirement by our company.

Important Instructions For DNS Selection – 2024

1. It is mandatory for all candidates to appear and qualify in the CET (1 Year DNS (programme) conducted by the Indian Maritime University (IMU) test conducted twice in a year. Please register and appear for the IMU CET.
2. Selected Candidate Shall Go for the Pre-sea Training Only at Tolani Maritime Institute (TMI) or Training Ship Rahaman (TSR) or else International Maritime Institute (IMI), Greater noida the selection of the institute shall be of sole decision of the company on the basis of Performance of the candidate during the Selection Process.
3. Selected candidates will be required to undergo a One Year Pre-sea training course (DNS) and basic modular courses Fees would be approx. Rs. 9,90,000.
4. Candidate should have appeared for 12th class (10+2) Board Exams and passed the exam in 1st attempt. Candidates awaiting results can apply for the Sponsorship Examination too.
5. Prior to starting their Shipboard Training the cadet will have to enroll in the Directorate General of Shipping (DGS) approved Structured Shipboard Training Programme (SSTP), the fee for which is to be borne by the cadet and is included in the above fee.
6. During the apprenticeship, there will be further training expenses.
7. Any candidate found using unfair means or having made false representations, will be disqualified immediately.
8. The eyesight and medical standards in this career are quite strict.
9. If selected for the DNS program, after the interview the candidate will have to undergo psychometric test, the cost of which (approximate Rs.6500, Six thousand Five Hundred) will have to be paid by the candidate.
10. Online tests for eligible candidates, Will take place at their own location (Dates of Online test and login Credentials will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through Email). Fees for online test will be approximately Rs.1500/- (Fifteen Hundred)
11. Based on the performance in Online test, if you are shortlisted for interview:
    a) Please bring original mark-sheets of the 10th and the 12th Class (10+2) Board Exams.
    b) Candidates will be required to bring the IMU CET to admit card and other relevant certificates and testimonials (original or attested copies) at the time of the interview.
    c) All expenses incurred by way of traveling, boarding, lodging, etc during the selection procedure will have to be borne by the candidate.
12.  Selected Candidate have to book the Seat by paying Rs. 50000 (Fifty Thousand Only)

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: The candidate must qualify any one of the following education criteria to qualify:

• Pass in 12th Standard or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%
• The candidate must have secured minimum 50% marks in English language in 10th or 12th standard exam.
• Qualified in Online Common Entrance Test. The Candidate should appear for IMU Common Entrance Test and must pass the test. The application form for IMU CET is available on www.imu.edu.in.

Medical Requirement: Candidates should be physically fit for sea service under STCW 2010 norms and medical rule 2000 and all its amendment as applicable to seafarers.

Eyesight: Eyesight 6/6 with or without external aids, maximum power permitted up to ±2.5 & no Colour Blindness. (Eye Glass Permitted)

Age: Not more than 25 years on the date of commencement of course.

1. 1. Selected candidates will be required to undergo a one-year Pre-sea training course (B.Tech Marine Engineering) and basic modular courses at our associate college Approved by DG Shipping, Mumbai Govt. of India.
   2. Any candidate found using unfair means or having made false representations, will be disqualified immediately.
   3. The eyesight and medical standards in this career are quite strict.
   4. If selected for the B.Tech Marine Engineering Course, after the interview the candidate will have to undergo a medical test and psychometric test, the cost of which (approximate Rs.6500/-) will have to be paid by the candidate.
   5. Online test for eligible candidates will be held at a candidate location (Dates of online test and login credentials will be communicated to shortlisted candidates through email). Fees for online test will be approximately Rs.1500/-
