Electro Technical Officer Sponsorship recognized as ETO is a 17 weeks residential course for graduates of select streams to assist them to join Merchant Navy industry as Electro Technical Officers. The course is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Govt. of India.
The course commences four times in a year in the months of March, June, August and November every year. Electro Technical Officer Sponsorship are accountable for ensuring safe operations of all electronic and electrical equipment.
Age-limit: Candidate should not be more than 35 years at the time of the course commencement
Qualification:
Category 1: Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with minimum 50 % marks in the English Language at 10th or 12th standard exam.
Passed three year’s Diploma with 60% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent.
Category 2:Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with minimum 50 % marks in the English Language at 10th or 12th standard exam.
Four year’s Degree, with 50% marks in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical, and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication / Communication Engineering, or Electronics and Instrumentation or equivalent.
