IMU-CET DNS 2020: Dates, Syllabus, Application and Eligibility
Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) is a one-year course that prepares you to work as a navigation officer on Merchant Navy Ships.
If you want to pursue DNS, the best way is to join an IMU affiliated institute.
For this you must first clear the All-India Online Common Entrance Test (CET), The Imu set 2021 Exam date shall be announced by the IMU University soon.
The CET is a 200 question multiple choice exam covering English, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at Class 12 Level. The Registration fee is Rs. 1000 for General/OBC-NCL candidates and Rs. 700 for SC/ST Candidates. You can register for the exam here.

On qualifying, you’ll be eligible to pursue the DNS program in an Affiliated Institute of IMU Coaching in Mumbai for the Academic Year 2021-22 starting on 01st August 2021.
There are a total of 7 IMU affiliated institutes with 360 DNS seats in the following break up:
